i already know where 5 supermarkets are, where meal deals happen and how to get from pretty much anywhere bacj to my accomadation.
Free tour was mint, felt like a bit of a tourist but it was cool, got sonme good shots
The pub crawl i walk on is awesome :) free orange Tshirts, free hour worth of vodka etc etc, meet loads of cool people and the rest of the team are fun too.
It's quite a small city mind, I keep meeting everyone I've already met.
Just enjoyed a good 200g steak with chips salad and a pepper sauce for less than 10 euros!!
Jager is cheap here too.
Trying to find a job at a hostel now to make it even cheaper and stuff.
Goin to do some art and get my Sofi number tomorrow. yay!! xxx love to yu all , especially Martina and mum and co. xxx

So I made it

It's great in Asterdam though i have to admit i had a pretty trashy touristy day for my first. Got in my youth hostel, met an American called Kristi. Went tot the hemp museum with said woman after my first coffee shop which was interesting and very cool. Sat in the smoking room now just chilling with the staff who have kindly lent me this laptop to do this. Planning now to head to this c kooky little local art gallery i walked past the other day. Oh and I've already accidentally wondered into the Red light district... lol
So yer, sound people, beautiful buildings, iced over canals, cheap awesone cheeseburgers!
Speaking of cheeseburgers i went to this cheap diner and got a cheeseburger and chips and they left the burger open and theyd put in this gorgeous thousand island esk sauce so i decided not to close my buger and have the sauce with my chips but the guy at the counter saw what i was doing nd got me like this huge little glass pot of the sauce for me!! he was so nice, definitly going back there some time.
ANyway i must move or i may just stay here all day and that would be a waste of a precious day.
Adios, much love.
oh wait i've locked myself out of my room actually by leaving the key in the room and leaving it.
Ahhh right 'll go find someone :) xx

To the land of clogs and cheese

And it begins, i have packed, got travel insurance, charged my phone, decided what i'm wearing on the plane and got my euros.
Most definitly forgotten something but i still have a lot of other vital things, such as my passport and flight stuff so it's ok.
I'm extremely excited, i have butterflies!!
Ok I'm leaving Ryan :( and Lube and Sam and Nelly and all other people still at Stokesley like Mikey and Big Jack.
ohs well :) Ryans visiting me for a week anyway :D
AND my friend over there called Joris is cuurently ski-ing in France and then going to Prague but should be back to say hi by the end of January so that'll be nice!
Also just learnt that Jono and two of his friends are going to be in Amsterdam for a couple of nights!
I plan on taking 5 books.
My bible, my sketchbook curtesy of Ryan, my notepad, norwegian mini textbook and my lonely planet guide for the Netherlands.
Mainly going to open my eyes, find myself, see if i really can make friends, enjoy some good art galleries, be educated and see some top class architecture first hand.
MAN lots to do!
Bed time now, so excited, hope i can sleep ok.
Night night night bye bye bye beautiful England, i hope the snow melts and the floods are over by the time I'm back... very selfish i know.
Hopefully be able to type from the Dam, so for now adios. x
P.s Yes brother Ben i will miss you dearly.
